New Season, New Day – Let’s Get Ready

By February 10, 2022May 10th, 2022God's Masterpiece

God has His paintbrush out, ready to create a masterpiece, and He is waiting on you. For many, the year 2020 presented roadblocks and a walk of uncertainty, but now that we have entered into 2021, let’s purpose to pursue the presence and purpose of God. The whirlwind left you with fear and questions, but it also pushed you closer to God, causing you to pray more. Many found treasures in the challenging times. The challenges allowed our eyes to open – to see life and our family and friends in a new perspective. In the time of isolation, we were allowed to slow down and assess what we really value. We discovered that our God is a healer and a provider…strength and help in the present time of trouble…and peace that passes all understanding. Some found Him to be a friend closer than a brother. Overall, we found Him to be faithful and a safe place. We learned that as we run into the arms of our Lord and Savior, we are assured a place of refuge and peace. So as we move into this new year 2021, ask yourself this question: “If God asked me, ‘What have you done with the talents I gave you?’, what would my answer be?” I pray that question simply motivates you to fully pursue your God-given purpose to make a difference and to be a voice of hope and healing to your family and community.

This season God wants to bless you to be a blessing. He wants to assure you of the truth that He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He designed these even before you were formed in your mother’s womb. He wants to draw you closer into His presence and to develop in you a new level of passion and fire that positions you to be the head and not the tail, to be a woman of God that is blessed in the city and blessed in the marketplace. In 2021, reset and get a fresh start walking in the grace of God, discovering your God-given voice, gifts and calling.

If you are called to pray and be an intercessor, then follow completely through like Anna in the Bible, a woman who prayed, persevered, and stood on God’s promise until it manifested (Luke 2:36-38). If God has called you to be in management or to be a leader, then be strong and bold and walk in conviction such as Deborah in the Bible, a woman who knew her God and walked in extraordinary victories (Judges 5:2-31).
